Hello Everybody;
All the activities and services in my Lions background covered the resume summarized below are collective works of Lions and Leos. The contributions and support of Lions and Leos in Türkiye and our fellows in Ankara Maltepe Lions Club, which I am honored to serve with, cannot be disregarded in our achievements. I express my respects, love and thanks to my beloved family and all of our fellow Lions and Leos in Europa, with whom we walk together the road of ‘voluntary service’ to our community.

Danyal ‘Dani’ Kubin born in Mersin, Türkiye in February 6, 1960. He graduated from Ankara Middle East Technical University, METU Civil Engineering department. He got his Master Degree from the METU Department of Building Sciences.
He got married to city planner Gülten Kubin in 1985. They have a son, Federico Emre who is a graduate of the UCLA, Electrical Engineering Department.
He is the founder of the Prota Engineering Group, one of the leading companies in Türkiye in the fields of design, consultancy and supervision.
He has undertaken hundreds of energy, telecommunication, industry, aviation, rail and highway systems, transportation, office and mass housing projects in more than 30 countries as a design and consultant engineer. He is one of the first earthquake experts in Türkiye, and has also published several technical books, presents scientific papers at many international conferences, and took part in scientific research institutions.
He joined Lions in Ankara Maltepe Lions Club in 1990. He served as a Board Member of his Club for eight years and President during the 1994-95 fiscal year. Additionally, he served as the Leo Club Advisor for three years. In District 118U he served as District Governor in 2004-05 and served as Council Chairperson in 2017-18 fiscal year in MD118.
He undertook duties in MD118 such as the editor of the LION Magazine Turkish Edition for 13 years, MD GLT Coordinator for 7 years, MD website administrator for 3 years, MD GMT Coordinator for 3 years, MD PR Chairperson, and MD Leo, Youth and YCE Coordinator.
He has represented Türkiye as a delegate by participating more than 25 times to the international events of Lions.
Within MD118, he has given Leos and Lions more than 180 seminars and trainings and, he is an author, co-author, compiler, and editor of more than 30 training programs and publications. He was also actively involved in the preparation of the Lions and Leo ceremonies manual and conduct more than 250 Lions and Leo ceremonies.
In recognition of his service to the Association, he has received awards such as; 3 International Presidential Medals, 3 International Leadership Medals, 5 International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, 4 Activity Certificates by the LCI.
He earned LCI Senior Master Key and LCI Membership Growth Diamond Award; moreover, he contributed to the charter of 6 Lions Clubs and by sponsoring 27 members, 16 of whom are still active Lion members.
He is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
At the MD118 National Convention held on May 28, 2022 in Bursa/Türkiye, he was designated as an International Director Candidate from the CAIV Area, Europa.
